Word for Asia: Justice, Recompense and the Age of Ethnos

“Asia is entering a season of justice, reconciliation and recompense.

Over the next 7 years, I will be at work undoing the consequences of historical wrongs - the atrocities and injustices committed by the West against Asia, and by Asians against Asia. The structures and boundaries (both physical and spiritual) set by the world orders of the past, through which Asia was contested for domination through empire (colonialism) and ideology (Cold War), will break. It is time to heal (Ecclesiastes 3:3) the forced division of territories and peoples, which resulted in the derailment and fracturing of na onal (ethnos) destinies. This will manifest in the reunification of divided territories (i.e. the two Koreas) and reconciliation, but also in further border conflicts as people groups push/pull for national boundaries to be redrawn (India and surrounding nations, China and Taiwan, etc.). Nationalism and nationalistic agendas of the past which birthed nations in Asia into false, forced identities will be weakened; they will not be able to sustain or secure the future of these nations.

Hear and feel the movement in the spirit realm over the nations of Asia: They are pulsating with the rhythms of re-birth!

Be careful to distinguish between conflicts that lead to chaos and destruction, and conflicts for re-birth that restore nations and peoples to their destiny. You will see national flags being re-designed in this season, as nations are re-birthed. Where the scattering and division of ethne (people groups) across national boundaries meant perishing because of the loss of identity, destiny and vision (Prov 29:18), and where these ethne have suffered oppression and marginalisation as minority groups – I will bring recompense. The militaristic (guerilla) and political liberation agendas of these groups, which are misguided attempts to attain a hope and a future for their people, will be brought into course correction. Outside access to these ethne has been restricted by authoritarian regimes because I will not allow groups and nations operating in the spirit of Empire to ‘free’ them - only to once again enslave them into their own likeness.

I have had enough of false identities in Asia!

I will see each ethnos restored to carry my likeness – the portions of my character and being that they were meant to reflect. Indeed, I have waited for the idol of Western democracy to break – so that these ethne will not embrace the West as their saviour. Nor will I permit Western denominationalism to institutionalise churches in Asia – as this will rob them of their unique contribution to the body of Christ in the world. There are theologies and expressions of my Spirit that the world is yet to see, because the ethne of Asia and their churches are yet to arise in the fullness of their des ny and calling.

And the ethne of Asia and their churches MUST arise! Much of the billion-soul harvest awaits in the fields of Asia. It is not the churches of the West who are (primarily) called to go out into the fields for the harvest – it is the churches of Asia and the peoples of Asia who must rise to the task.

Churches of the West – know how to resource my Kingdom’s advancement in Asia without enslaving and subjugating. Churches of Asia – take responsibility to establish storehouses and hubs for resourcing and solutions building. These must be birthed and led by you. Do not look to the West and the global economic system created in the image of the West to resource you. You must build new economic systems and set new financial rules. Change taxation practices – government taxation for cross-border financing must be rendered ineffective. Build new supply chains and logistical routes that connect people to people, ethnos to ethnos, to circumvent gatekeepers that create corruption, loss and delay. Equip yourselves with wisdom and excellence in resourcing Kingdom works in the region.

While the world reels in chaos and war, Asia shall be re-birthed. Asia, you are coming into the most productive hours of your day; do not squander your time trying to import and replicate models of nation-building, and even church-building/planting, from elsewhere. My provision lies within your own territories and peoples – I have placed treasures in your own backyard. Be connected to the world - but be uncompromising in your unique wisdom and capabilities. Your contribution is critical for the end-times harvest. I call Asia to arise!”
